Now known to many as the ‘Black Messiah’ because of a new film, “Judas and the Black Messiah”, Fred Hampton was a revolutionary as chairman of the Illinois Black Panther Party. But Hampton was also very important to non-Black Latinos. In the 1960s, he started a rainbow coalition with a group of Latino activists.
