COVID-19 is harmful to anyone, but especially those with other medical conditions. Asthma, high blood pressure, cancer, sickle cell, diabetes, heart disease, or obesity can make someone more vulnerable. But everyone needs to be careful! These five symptoms could mean you have coronavirus (COVID-19).
Symptom #1 is Fever. Feeling hot to the touch, getting the chills, looking flushed or glassy-eyed, or having a temperature over 100 degrees is a cause for concern. Symptom #2, Dry Cough, is specific in how it feels. Coughing associated with COVID-19 hurts deep in your chest. It is not just a tickle in the throat.
Symptom #3 is Loss of Smell and Taste, which can sometimes appear out of the blue. Related to that is Symptom #4, Digestive Issues. Diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting can mean we have an infection - often before other symptoms start.
Last is Symptom #5, Fatigue. This means more than feeling a little tired. This type of fatigue feels incredibly draining, mentally and physically.
