Petition to Stand Against Gun Violence

In the decade since the Sandy Hook massacre, no meaningful federal action on gun reform has been taken.

This week, the US Senate released a bipartisan gun safety bill called the Safer Communities Act, a breakthrough after weeks of negotiations sparked by the mass shootings in Buffalo, New York, and Uvalde, Texas. But we need your help to make sure this bill becomes law.

The bill would secure $11 billion for mental health resources and includes funding to implement “red flag” laws and enhanced background checks. Sign this petition to tell Congress we need them to act NOW to make our country a safer place.
